Pop-up windows must be allowed for this browser session to enable the connection of this third-party app with Mation.

NOTE

You need two different HubSpot accounts to be able to establish a connection – a regular account and a developer account!

1. Log in to your HubSpot developer account.

2. Click the Manage apps button and then click the Create app button.

3. Fill in the Public app name field.

4. Go to Mation and navigate to Apps. Click the + Add Connection button. In the popup, select HubSpot from the list.

5. Copy the OAuth Redirect URL.

6. Go back to HubSpot and navigate to the Auth tab.

7. Paste the OAuth Redirect URL value into the Redirect URL(s) field. Then, click the Create app button at the bottom of the page.

8. Your app is almost ready. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret values.

9. Scroll down to the Scope section and click the Add new scope button.

10. Select the scopes you want to use with Mation.

    NOTE

    Select at least crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write to make the connection work.

    

11. Click the Update button.

12. Click the Save changes button.

13. Go to Mation and paste the Client ID value and the Client Secret value into the respective fields.

    WARNING

    Do not click the Submit button yet.

    

14. Go back to HubSpot and sign out of your developer account.

15. Log in to your other regular account on HubSpot.

16. Now click the Submit button on Mation.

17. A pop-up window appears. Select your account and click the Choose account button.

18. Click the Connect App button.

19. Your HubSpot connection is now established.

20. Start using your new HubSpot connection with Mation.
