Discord is a communication platform designed for creating communities ranging from gamers to education and businesses. It offers a wide array of communication tools including voice calls, video calls, text messaging, media and files sharing, which are organized in servers (both public and private) and channels dedicated to various topics. Mation enables you to send a message to specific Discord channel.

Connect with Discord:

1. Log in to your Discord account.
2. Click the link and then click the New Application button on Discord Developer Portal.
3. Fill in the Name field and check the checkbox.
4. Click the Create button.
5. Name your app and click the Save Changes button.
6. Navigate to OAuth2 > General page.
7. Copy the Client ID and save it for future use.
8. Click the Reset Secret button to obtain the initial client secret, and then copy it for future use.
9. Click the Add Redirect button to define a redirect URI.
10. Go to Mation and navigate to My Apps and Add a new connection choosing Discord from the list.
11. Copy the OAuth Redirect URL from Mation, paste it into the Redirect field on Discord, and then click the Save Changes button.
12. Go to the Bot page on Discord.
13. Click the Reset Token button to generate the initial bot token, and then copy it for future use.
14. Acknowledge the warning and click the Yes, do it! button.
15. Go to Mation and fill in the Consumer key field with the Client ID value you copied earlier.
16. Fill in the Consumer secret field with the Client Secret value you copied earlier.
17. Fill in the Bot token field with the Bot Token value you copied earlier.
18. Click the Submit button on Mation.
19. A pop-up window appears. Choose a server and click the Continue button.
20. Scroll down all the way and click the Authorize button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
21. The connection with Discord is now established.
22. Start using your new Discord connection with Mation.
